Spring Clean-up At Museum Complex
Volunteers welcome to join us in our annual Spring Clean-up. We will be landscaping, cleaning interior and exterior buildings, and performing small maintenance tasks around the museum complex. This is a great opportunity to join members of the community in continuing to preserve the history of the Greater Port Jefferson area. Students can use this as an opportunity to earn volunteer hours.
Opening Weekend: Museum and Consignment Shop
Official opening weekend of the Mather House Museum and Consignment Shop. Starting this weekend, the museum complex will be open Wednesday-Sunday, 12 PM to 4 PM through Labor Day. New this year, in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of America, we are part of the 250th Suffolk County Passport Book. Bring your book and receive a stamp to commemorate your visit.

Museum tours will be offered and the Consignment Shop will be open. Please join us from 12:00pm-4:00pm for our annual Holiday Open House and enjoy some fresh backed goods and cider at the Mather House.

Deck The Halls: Mather House Tree Decorating
Calling all members, come and decorate the Mather House Christmas Tree with us for the holidays.
American Clocks of the 1800s & Tour Of the Spinney Clock Museum
Register for this event at the Port Jefferson Free Library. The lecture will take place at the library followed by a short walk to the Spinney Clock Museum for the tour.
